Orange Armory

Orange Armory BuildingThe Town of Orange is considering reuse proposals for the recently abandoned Orange Armory building. This building, constructed in 1913, has been home to military personnel, non-profit and community services, and most recently, municipal office space. Having been designated to the National Registry of Historic Spaces, the adequate reuse of the building is of the utmost importance.

To widely explore the opportunity for reuse, the Orange Office of Community Development is seeking the services of the Isenberg Real Estate Advisors to perform site analysis, building analysis, market research, and modeling and analysis of proposed alternative uses. The objective of this project is to offer 2-3 alternatives for the best use of the Orange Armory building and land. IREA will create a summary of maximum build-out and potential site layouts.

The Town of Orange has partnered with the Isenberg Real Estate Advisors, a pro-bono student-run consulting group based out of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, in order to conduct a highest and best-use analysis of the Armory. As the IREA conducts their analysis, they have created a survey for the residents of the Town of Orange, to fill out and see what the public would like to see become of their historic site. Fill out their survey!

Surveys are due February 1st, 2023. The IREA are not collecting any personal information, just gathering information on potential reuses and preferences for the Armory. For any inquiries please email Isenberg Real Estate Advisors or email the project manager .
