The Board of Health is responsible for conducting housing inspections per State Sanitary Code 105 CMR 4100 upon request. It is strongly encouraged that tenants discuss first with their landlords any issues they are having in their dwelling before contacting the Board of Health to give the landlords a chance to work on resolving any such issues.
