  • ON-CALL SNOW PLOW OPERATORS
    We are looking to add several Part Time operators to our Highway Team during storms to keep the town roads clear. If you have plowing experience, a valid DOT Medical Card, and a minimum of Class 2B Hoisting License, we urge you to apply. Drivers with CDL will be given preference. Hourly rates range from $15.53 to $18.22 based on the license you hold. Orange provides the vehicles.

  • FULL TIME HEALTH AGENT
    The Town of Orange is seeking a Health Agent to perform all relevant duties required by state statutes and regulations. The Health Agent works under the direction of a 3 member Board, responsible for duties relative to the protection of public health, the control of disease, the promotion of sanitary living conditions, and the protection of the environment from damage and pollution. Preferred qualifications include: Bachelors Degree or higher in public health or related field; one or more years of related experience; license or certification as Registered Sanitarian, Title 5 Soil Evaluator, Title 5 System Inspector, and Certified Food Protection Manager.   • Administrative Assistant – Assessor’s Office
    28.5 hours per week
    (Mon, Tues, Thurs 9:00-4:00 [1/2 hour lunch] , Wed 9:00-7:00 [one hour lunch])

    Provides assistance to the Regional Tax Assessor and Board of Assessors by performing a wide range of clerical, administrative, and fiscal duties. Oversees the daily operation of the Assessor’s Office. Processes and maintains real and personal property records, automobile excise taxation and statutory exemption provisions. Regularly provides customer service to the public. Minimum Requirements: Associates degree and 5 years of office experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
