The Parlor Thrifty Gift Shop Open Mondays 1-4pm

Something to do on Monday afternoons between 1 and 4 is coming to the First Universalist Church at 31 North Main Street in Orange.
The Church's Ladies’ Parlor has been turned into a thrifty gift shop to help raise money to offset the ever spiraling costs of keeping a historic building like the church open. Generous donations from the church members help fill the racks and shelves, and ongoing donations will be welcome.
Since most shops are closed on Mondays, it seemed like the perfect day to offer an option for a little something to do. Along with a curated selection of clothing, there will be a little bit of everything: cards, houseplants, artwork, books, cds, dish sets, jewelry & knick-knacks. Home-made cookies and coffee will also be available, along with comfortable seating for people to sit and peruse the books or cds, or just relax and chat with a friend.
