Mission Statement
The Town of Orange public water supply, infrastructure and operations belong to and are funded solely by the Orange water users. There is no direct or indirect funding from the Town budget. Since 1892, the Orange Board of Water Commissioners has been charged with the responsibility to maintain the supply of adequate, clean and safe water for the water users of Orange.
The Water Commissioners are dedicated to the mission of protecting the quality of the water and the continued delivery of water, at a reasonable rate, to the water users of Orange. First and foremost, the Water Commissioners serve the water users and will continue to represent their best interests.
