Introductions: State Representative Christopher J. Donelan (D), Marsha Montgomery, former President, Western MA AIA, Director of Planning and~Development~for~the City of~Northampton, Wayne Feiden.
Welcome to new members.~ We appreciate you being here.~

Action~to Complete:~In addition,~enjoy responses to~our "one question" survey and photos from~the "scrap city shuffle" at the Harvest Festival.

Action to Complete: A quick review~of each of the half-dozen SDAT phases, such as the main event with the~select~consultants and the final tool kit.~ Discuss the experiences of the other two SDAT Massachusetts~communities, Pittsfield and~Northampton.
6:55 We've got~company coming: Setting the Itinerary: Alec MacLeod
The SDAT team leaders from Washington~D.C. and~elsewhere will arrive next month to conduct a~survey~of~Orange~that~will~shape~the final~charette.~
Identify the main issues and unrealized potential in Orange during the SDAT teams tour.
Where should they~go, what should they see, who should they talk to over the two days?
Action to Complete: By~the end of this meeting we~should have~a detailed~itinerary.~ Weigh in!~ However, please~be~selfless and shine a light on topics beyond your personal or organizational purview. Issues may range from building re-use, to the airport, to use of water, rail and bikeways, to job creation in the green~economy, to open land, culture and youth.
7:10 Let's Get to Work: Outreach and Publicity: Jonathan Schwartz
The~main event of the SDAT process is an~intensive~two day~dialogue between members of the town and topical experts from~several disciplines.~ The challenge will be getting as many towns~people~as we can muster.~
Action to Complete:~~Working~with Jonathan Schwartz Environmental Affairs Officer of Orange Innovation Center on print~collateral outreach through electronic media, electronic bulletin boards, advertisement, and email blasts.
It's not too late~to organize car and van pools for people who normally wouldn't attend these events.~ We are not just looking for the usual suspects, but~we are truly~reaching out to all demographics.~ Come ready to volunteer yourself or others for these tasks.
